{*~Little Neighborhood~*}

Spending lots of long nights at the sewing machine. Cleaning, yoga & cooking during the day. Each day I get more & more cleaned up & organized. I figure at the rate I’m going, I’ll just sleep in like, April because there is just so much I want to do…like NOW! NOW! NOW!!!!!!!!

I’ve been trying super hard with my new years resolutions, sharing more sewing photos, being more open minded, being closer with the friends I have, trying to make new friends, etc. So far it’s been a learning experience. A really positive one.

I’m obsessed with little towns lately. I see gorgeous photos on flickr & wish I lived in a little village, surrounded by mountains and trees and of course, covered in snow. But instead I live near the ocean, among redwood trees, in a tiny two room “cottage” where it rains all the time. I guess it’s a matter of day dreaming & expressing wishes, while trying to look on the bright side of things, like the rain means I can have tons of quilts for my bed & couch…right? right?! ;)

Have a great Friday!!!!

    You need to visit Ouray, Colo. It’s like a little Swiss Alps village. Sooo cute.

    Appreciate where you live, northern California (Humbolt County?) is gorgeous! I’m from Santa Rosa and now I live on the East Coast and I miss the beauty of redwoods and cliffy beaches… ahh, so pretty. But I know, I had to move away from CA to really like it :)

    Your little town quilt is awesome, however. I made a mini houses quilt recently and I loved it, I’m sure I’ll make more. Good luck with your resolutions, those are all such noble things to work towards :)

    That quilt is beautiful, in such a simple way, and even better that it has a meaningful story behind it.

    Glad your new year is going well, just wanted to tell you how inspiring I find your blog – crafting for a living is a dream of mine, I suppose we all have our dreams…;)

    Want to swap? Come to Amsterdam and we’ll come to CA! I’d love to be near the ocean and among redwood trees! Granted, the constant rain can’t be pleasant atm, but just think about the spring, the warm sun, the ocean…mmm…
